came for the cute queer love, stayed for the emotional roller coasters. the whole time I read this, ivy by taylor swift kept playing in my mind because it has a lot of parallels with this book. evelyn’s character was intriguing and intimidating, and the details of her life are so juicy and fun to read!

YA is definitely not my genre, but I would have LOVED this book in middle school! The story is really sweet, and most of the characters are likeable. There are a lot of current pop culture references that might age the book in a few years

even though this book was very short and I read it in one day, the story still felt like it dragged on. i love the friendship dynamic, that felt like the most honest and sweet part of the book. but what bothered me was that at the big reveal at the end, the main characters just strike me as shitty people.

reading this book was a joyful, funny, challenging and beautiful experience. with a premise as unique and such distinctive characters, every chapter was a wild ride. it made me cry a lot and i will be thinking about this book for a long time.

very quick to read with high stakes and engaging characters. a lot of scenes felt repetitive and some of the drag was frustrating for me to read, but overall it had a very satisfying ending and i enjoyed the twist!

new favorite book alert!!!!! not only was the plot so unique and engaging, but i genuinely cared for every single character! they were all fully dimensional and their personalities all complemented each other perfectly. i especially loved niko, the psychic roommate who added an interesting element!!
and the love story- goddamn. from the very beginning when she’s writing about all the little magical moments of a crush, to the progression of their relationship, to the later incredibly hot scenes that have been seared into my mind lol…… this book is fucking dreamy. i love it so much and it had the most satisfying ending and aghhhhhh i need to read it again

this was such a fun read!! I loved the adventures and the discussion of how stigmas literally endanger us and weaken our societies as a whole. the only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because a lot of the side characters weren’t fully fleshed out, and they frequently blended together.
but the ending was very satisfying and the scenes leading up to the ending made me gasp a lot!!

This was a great listen on audiobook, the narrator’s Irish accent made it very enjoyable!
This was a cute and lighthearted premise, but explored a lot deeper and complex topics with the characters’ relationship to dementia and it’s implications on morality that I appreciated! I will say, the protagonist’s intense aversion to emotional vulnerability and general immaturity really got on my nerves, as that was the main tension of the story and only got resolved at the very end. I don’t know what else I expected from YA, but all of that made me dislike her which made me lose interest at a lot of her petty dramas.
