The romance in this book didn't do it for me and I really wasn't interested in either of the characters. But this was the first mystery/romance-type book and that was honestly so addicting.
The way Elsie Silver panders to my baby fever should be studied. Here she goes again, fixing my daddy issues.
Weston Belmont is a top-tier single dad, rugged and sexy and kind and protective. He is the man I want to read about because damn.
The vibes are immaculate. That's all.

i swear diana gabaldon puts crack in these books.
she goes off on tangents and the books are longer than need be, yet i cannot stop thinking about them. they simply make me feel some kinda way and i love them so much.
although the first book is still my favorite, voyager is a close second. the politics of the second book were the most difficult to get through but they payout is worth it in the end. can’t wait to continue the series

i LOVED nolan and i really enjoyed the chess theme. mallory was honestly unbearable about 60% of the time, though.
the audiobook was okay simply because the Irish accent is absolutely *chefs kiss*
sally thorne basically writes "hugs." boring hugs, but hugs nonetheless.
