Incredible book. Recommend for everyone, even if not currently in your 20-30s! It is sharp, empathetic, easy to understand and I thoroughly learned and gained so much. Especially recommend for parents.

Favorite book of the year so far. Wow. It is so emotive in a refreshing way, so personal yet I related to the heart of the narrator. I felt the text in bones. I cried, I laughed, I felt connected to it as both a novel and a memoir. What a gift this spontaneous purchase pre-vacation was!

The prose in this is stunning, I know why it’s deemed a ‘modern classic’ now. It is heavy with complex female relationships, class, and the impact of education. Definitely one to revisit.
