Who gets out of jail just to rob a house and murder the family living there for $40-$50?
The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

Zahra annoyed the hell outta me with her extreme optimism and cackling at the most unfunny things ever. She was so cringy.
Rowan had major daddy issues and the fact that the littlest things turn him on was so disgusting. Like Zahra could present an idea for a ride she has and Rowan would get hard.

Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer

I would’ve liked this book if I was 12. I’m sorry I can’t finish this book. I heard Meyer’s books were really good, but I think this one’s just not one of those books. I feel it’s made for more of a middle school audience. The “instant karma” is just way too obvious. I don’t know I feel this book had real potential but it didn’t get there. I will not be reading this book in the future but I might give it to my future children. Who knows?
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

Although I loved this books, I solely do not understand why this book was so hyped.
What was good: The writing was beautiful. It was formal, yet graceful. It was like flowers growing in a garden of poetry, if that makes sense. I also loved the chemistry between Achilles and Patroclus. The way talking came easy to them and they could tell each other everything was wonderful. And they’re attachment to each other throughout the book was amazing. Finally, Briseis and Patroclus’ relationship was beautiful. Though they’re feelings weren’t matched, they remained close friends through everything. I loved that.
What was bad: It. Was. Slow. Because of the formalness of the writing, the story was slow. It took me forever to finish and I barely remember some of the things that happened. And I didn’t cry. I was told I would be balling my eyes out. I didn’t. It was sad, yeah, but I don’t think the events that caused others to cry were expanded enough. I think that’s why I didn’t cry. If the events were expanded, yes I would’ve definitely been crying. Also, the ending was kind of boring. I skimmed through it. I mean it wasn’t useless, I saw what the author intended to do, but it wasn’t too interesting for me.
This book wasn’t necessarily bad, it was just slow. Beautiful writing and I loved the characters and the ending was boring, but I loved it.
