Yes, it’s DARK, but there’s nothing, even a tidbit hint of romance at all between them. It’s purely Dom / Sub relationship and other sexual acts performed by the Dom to Sub. I like the consistency of it from start to finish. I also like the progress of the story, not too slow and no too fast for me. I was shocked when the MMC let the FMC fucked by his trusted people (Anton & Ivan) and a random woman. I like reading the FMC’s thoughts. It’s not boring to read and I could feel her emotions just reading all of it. I would rate this book 5⭐️ if we could get at least a few POV from the MMC. I would like to know his thoughts and how did he plan all of those. I like the consistency on Aleksandr’s character. He’s in control, calculated, and it also helps that there’s no POV of him that it made him more mysterious and distant. I like Astrid’s strength and courage to be honest with herself. I like Vasily, Boris and Ivan’s character. They’re so genuine with Astrid. I appreciate them for looking out for Astrid especially Vasily when he helped her escape from Aleksandr.

I didn’t expect that there will be a twist on this. That scene when Annika shot Creighton? That’s my favorite scene. I could feel their emotions and it hit right through my core. I cried a bucket reading Creighton’s rampage and Annika’s breakdown. I like the characters. It’s just . . . It would be nice though if Creighton has his own interests or hobbies in life aside from having sex with Annika, his sex toys and his past. And I was also expecting more of Annika’s interest in fashion. It would be nice if it was explored more in this book like by mentioning different luxury brands. And it really didn’t appear there were students, I was hoping their majors were explored more.

I like the plot of the story which revolves around Belle’s sexuality and how it relates to her parents’ beliefs and opinions which affected her while growing up. The storytelling is exquisite! The narration of Belle and Rafe’s POVs were entertaining to read, they had their own quirks, style and voice. I also like the dialogues of all the characters because it’s so smooth and not awkward to read. It’s like you’re with them during the conversation. The characters have their pasts that relates to what situation they ended up with. It was all put together and no loopholes to dig in. The conversation of Belle and her parents ended as what it should be and that’s one of the things I liked in this story. It ended so realistically. The whole book was so entertaining to read because it’s something new to me.

It’s a nice plot. It sad that Mako did not get the justice on what she truly deserves from all the disgusting things that her uncle, father and her ex-boyfriend did to her. I kind of understand Mizuki on why she did not mention it to the lawyers or in court. Mako wants to keep it a secret and bury it underneath. What I like about Mizuki’s character was her cleverness. Despite in that situation, she really made sure that Mako will get the justice. While, I like Mako’s bravery. She’s brave enough to endure all of those things she experienced from her uncle and the hardships in life, but despite all of that, she still tried her best to smile and laugh in front of her best friend and her classmates. And they’re both PRETTY GIRLS!
