A story about a wife and husband with two different secrets that would possibly destroy their family and marriage. The wife decide to house a foreign exchange student and the drama starts. A fast pace read that edges on implausibility.

The connection the author tried to make with the wife secret and how it impacted her actions was flawed.

The daughter/mother relationship was insufferable. The son didnt add anything to the storyline and he was forgotten towards the end of book.

Thank you netgallery or the ARC.

I guess I'm solidify that I am not a fan of mystery and physical violence in my books. I also dont like homophobia that is fix by lost.

The 1st half was a queer coming of age story. Which I enjoyed. The last half address his reflection on the letters from his father. It became very spiritual and the plot stopped. I didn't like that.

Not a necessary read after " don't cry for me"

Quick entertaining read. I think that the ending was far fetched.

Although I enjoy this book more than the first in a series I felt like it could have been condensed by 300 pages. Nothing really happened until the last 10 chapters. The storyline was repetitive conversations were redundant in the twist were predictable. I will finish the series because I'm curious how it ends. Although the ending of this book has a repetitive storyline.
