The love I have for the Simonverse is insane. They feel like home tbh. I liked catching up on Leah, she's one of my favourite characters, and reading this book gave me new reasons why. I absolutely adore her friendship with Simon, their relationship is all I want in my life (is that too much to ask? Lol) It just felt so wholesome seeing them all again because as I said, they feel like home <3

What I mostly liked about this book is that it's not a "typical coming out story". It's more focus on Leah's family situation, dealing with her friends, being insecure, and how to balance that. Leah and Abby's relationship has always been odd in my eyes and I'm glad it's being addressed in this book. And let me tell you, it was not what I was expecting.

Finally! I have been waiting for a Ruko book for 3 years, and it's finally here.

There were things I was hoping to see in the book but ended up being removed. For example, I wanted a better perspective on Ruko and Sozin's relationship, and how things started to change once Ruko got identified as the avatar. Like, Ruko found out he was the avatar on Sozin's birthday who everyone thought was gonna be the avatar.

Ruko is a lot more similar to Aang than what I expected. They share similar thoughts such as questions and doubting their avatar identity. And my heart melted as soon as Gyatso's name was mentioned <3

I had high expectations for this one, and I was left quite disappointed in the beginning. The first half of the book was boring, and the storyline had a very slow pace. I wish it had more focus on Bianca, her friendship with Yami, and more detail on how things started to change once Yami came out.

There were also too many characters for my liking. I couldn't tell many of them apart most of the time. I didn't expect her mother to be so understanding. I thought she was going to expect it eventually, but it would take time.

And, minus points for using gay instead of lesbian, especially when the title is "The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School."

I'm glad Jennette's mom died, too. I love reading biographies, and I understood why while reading this one. The emotions I felt and the way Jennette wrote were beautiful and tragic at the same time. I was staring at the wall for minutes after finishing reading, trying to process it all.

Whoa, okay. I did not expect this at all. This is the best book in the series. I loved all the twists and turns along with a clear storyline. Plus Jacks perspective?? Hell yeah. The ending made me feel empty, and I started to question what I am supposed to do with life now that the series is over lol.

I usually don't read fake dating stories because I find them very predictable. The reading experience feels like a checklist because you know what's gonna happen and when.

However, I did enjoy this one. It did not feel like a typical fake dating story, which made it more fun to read.

Also, a big plus for good bi representation.

First of all, what a beautifully written book! <3

I did have very high expectations for this one, and it did not meet them all the way, but it is still a good book. It had too many characters for my liking, leading me to mix up the characters all the time. It also took some time until I actually got into the story. But overall, I enjoyed it.
