A very cute Christmas novella in the Chestnut Springs universe. Loved catching up with some of my favourite ranchers from the past two years.

A beautiful Lyla Sage novel who gives me exactly what I want- low stakes, cowboy romances with no stupid miscommunications and characters who feel like they step out of the page right into your heart. Lyla's prose is particularly beautiful, I love how she balances lyricism but also short, punchy sentences when needed.

Marc is so swoonworthy. His speeches are reminiscent of old school rom coms and I could feel my heart aching in a shockingly few amount of pages. How does Ali do it? I don't know but I keep coming back.

An interesting look into the life of Elvis and Priscilla. The prose was well written though at times it felt like having to read between the lines. However this is to be expected! I'm sure there's many stories untold.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
Despite the Australian location, it was not enough to overcome the cringey writing. The author told us their attraction was immediate and their conversations were banter but the actual content did anything to show that. Just telling us it was banter does not good banter make.

A phenomenal story, about how a movie is made, told through the lens of a family saga. Strong documentary style, Hanks writes with clear authority on the subject matter and brings, together with a stellar cast, an incredible narration. An instant favourite.
