Pure heartbreak. I buddy read this with Kevin but got over excited and had to push ahead. This was dark and stormy, and visceral and full of hatred and twisted people but so incredibly poetic and beautifully written. Wow.

This was emotional and endearing. I ripped through the first 160 pages pretty quick on my way to work this week and knew I'd finish it today.

Like Louis Theroux's memoir, this really took me back to the time of uncertainty and the unknowns of COVID. Poor Kate, and their family, having gone through all of this. It was such a strange time and still is. Things just aren't quite the same as they were before, anymore and I wonder if they ever will be.
