I received this as an ARC and I was hooked from the very beginning! I loved the “lies” at the beginning of each chapter (somehow I didn’t pick up on it until chapter 11) and then of course I had to go back to see the others. It tied it all together so well. Xander is the sweetest and his love for Ana showed beautifully throughout the book. The slow burn was perfect with the steamy scenes and just enough to give you the fix you’re looking for. It was such a believable story as addiction is such a problem around the world and it was easy to relate to this story because the author did a fantastic job of portraying each character in the story and the story plot. I didn’t want it to end and I’m excited to see that her other books tie in some of the characters! This was an amazing read, I highly recommend! Such a great realistic love story!

I’ll start by saying that this story really wasn’t for me but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate someone’s work. I’ve never read a book like this before but the cleverness of the author with all of the hidden messages and codes etc..the amount of time that went into that, im sure was a lot! I did appreciate the graphics throughout because it allowed me to visualize what you were trying to portray. I would say that if this book looks interesting to you, then you should take the chance and read it.

Witches and vampires, what can you not love! I liked the irresistible relationship the main characters had which gave some quite spicy scenes. It’s ends on a cliffhanger so now let’s see what happens in book 2!!!

A love story worth reading

This was a super cute read which I finished pretty quickly because I couldn’t put it down. The banter between Reed and Charlotte was adorable and this was my first “boss” romance. The build up in the story was great and I loved how the author built the characters up as well, to become “better people” and grow within themselves. Kind of like the saying you need to love yourself before you love others. There was some of that in there along with a great love story. I’d say 4.5/5 stars if not a full 5!
