Thank you to Sunny Babe PR for my copy of this book! Out June 1st.
Amelia Thatcher is tired of all these blind dates her best friend sets up. While on one of those dates she runs into, literally, a gorgeous man who saves her from having to continue the date. Riley is just out of a relationship and not looking for anything. But he couldn’t help when a beautiful woman runs into him and playing the knight. They spend the evening together and form a friendship that neither wants to endanger, no matter their feelings. But when Riley asks Amelia to pretend to be his girlfriend so he doesn’t have to go to his brothers wedding alone and Amelia can use it as an excuse to not go on blind dates; Amelia agrees. As long as their friendship doesn’t get ruined. Follow these friends through trials, bumps, and maybe feelings that lead to more.
This book was adorable. Again two POV for both Amelia and Riley which I loved. I loved the characters though sometimes they did annoy me. I thought the story was engaging and thought out. It was interesting to have a friendship played out before the fake dating because I feel like other books start it sooner in the book. But it was beautiful to see the friendship blossom. I did want more fake dates though. There didn’t feel like enough of them. Also, I enjoy how the author did two epilogues one from each POV. But last epilogue makes me hope there is another book that will answer my question for that! If you want a cute fake dating romance that is closed door definitely check this one out!

ARC Review
Cassandra is a normal teenage girl. Until one night she dreams, and they are vivid. She sees herself as a girl named Sophia from Riga, Latvia, in the 1930s and lives her life. Every night she dreams of her. Watches as her life goes by. This affects Cassandra in her waking life, where all she wants to do is go back to dreaming. Why is she having these dreams? What do they mean? Then one day they stop. And years later it seems Cassandra is meeting people who look like the ones from her dreams. What could it mean? How will it all play out?
The premise of this book is interesting. The idea of having these vivid dreams about another’s life from another time. Reading about Sophia’s story was super interesting. I knew kind of where it was going but it was definitely fun to read about a different time and place. The author did a good job with the past story and making it seem very real. I do wish that during Cassandra’s time there was more about it affecting her waking life. She talked about it but I felt like there could have been more. I also wanted more dialogue when it came to Cassandra in the first half. It was a lot of description but not a lot of dialogue. Overall this was an interesting story and if the premises sounds intriguing to you then I would read it!
Thank you to the author for an ARC of this book!

What a delightful witchy romance for October! Read if you like soulmates, daemons, witchy town, magic, and dual POV. Book out on October 13th.
Willow loves her witchy town and the coffee shop/bakery her and her sister own. And it’s her favorite time of year, Halloween. After talking with her sister, she decides it’s time to adopt another cat. She picks a beautiful black cat. However once she gets him home she finds out he isn’t just a cat. Damien got himself into a bit of predicament. A witch turned him into a cat. And now he is the pet to another witch. One who is beautiful and who could possibly help him. Willow agrees to help change him back. After which he agrees to stay for a month. And it doesn’t just have to do with the mission his brother sent him on. Willow and Damien get closer in the month he is there. But will his secret come between them?
I loved this witchy romance book. It had the right amount of spice, a fun quick storyline, and a cute witchy town. I wish there was a bit more use of magic from Willow besides the spell to change him back. The idea of a witch town is interesting and fun. I would love to see more of it. Also the daemon world sounds like fun. The author did a great job for an October witchy romance novel.
