I wanted to LOVE this book, and in a way I did, but I think it was an appreciation love more than a “it captured my heart and soul” love. The writing was phenomenal, the love story challenging, the history engaging. I just didn’t rush back to it the way I do with other books.

Ugh!!! This was SO GOOD!! Addie was so relatable and I loved her growth and journey! And Jack is so complicated and so 🥵. And the writing!! Even when I thought I found an unanswered question or hole, Marilyn cleared it up seamlessly in the story. 10/10, no notes! Might be my new *FAVORITE* series of the year!
