This was an amazing young adult fantasy book. I loved following Locklyn in this story as she enters a dangerous competition against supernatural creatures. I loved seeing her overcome challenges even though she didn’t have powers. I found myself invested in the story and the characters and I absolutely loved reading this one! I can’t get over how this book ended and I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series.

This was a quick and enjoyable young adult fantasy. Carnival Of Fools is book two in the Port Of Lost Souls series and can be read fairly easily without having read the previous book. I loved the immersive carnival setting and the easy to read writing style. I liked the overall storyline and the cast of characters. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

This was an amazing murder mystery! I loved the 1950s train setting and the overall locked room mystery. This book had an interesting cast of complex characters and it kept me guessing as to whodunnit. Although this book was a bit slower paced at the beginning, it picked up quite a bit after a while. There were so many twists and turns throughout this book that helped keep me invested in the mystery and I couldn’t wait to find out how the story unfolded.

I loved this romance read! I enjoyed following Annie and Will in this story and liked revisiting the small town of Rome, Kentucky in this book. This is book two in the When In Rome series but can easily be read as a standalone. I loved seeing how both the main characters grew and developed throughout the course of this book and I loved their interactions. This book had me smiling quite a bit and I didn’t want to put it down.

This was a fun middle grade chapter book! This one had a cute story and I liked the cast of characters in this book. I loved the illustrations sprinkled throughout this book as well. Overall this was a great kid’s fantasy read that I think a lot of middle graders will enjoy.

This was a good locked room mystery fantasy story. This book took me a bit to get into as the world building was a bit overwhelming and felt lit it was info dumping a bit. I found myself more intrigued by the story after the murders started occurring, but the pacing felt quite slow at times. I did like following the main character, Ganymedes and side character, Grasshopper, in this story. This book had a lot of good elements, and blended genres fairly well but it didn’t hold my attention as much as I had hoped.
