This was an enjoyable young adult horror. I loved the storyline of this book as well as its atmospheric setting. I loved following the characters as they were lost in a weird swamp and as they discovered a creepy house. I appreciated how this book incorporated mixed media elements like found footage, transcripts and news reports as it helped to make this a more immersive read. Overall this was a great horror read, perfect for the spooky season.

This was a great middle grade read. I loved the overall storyline of this book as well as the cast of characters. I enjoyed following Oliver in this story as he starts a new school, makes a new friend and discovers a magical mailbox. Return To Sender is packed with great illustrations which help to visualize the story. Overall this was a fun read that middle graders are sure to enjoy.

This was an excellent cozy and magical romantasy. I loved the small town setting of Briarhaven and the cast of characters. This book was packed with many magical elements. I really enjoyed following Sloane as she learned about her magic and her misfiring mishaps with it as she tried to break her familyโ€™s curse. This book had me smiling quite a bit and I found it to be an entertaining read.

This was a good locked room mystery. I loved the overall concept and setting of this book. I appreciated how this story was told through multiple points of view, but I struggled to connect to the unlikable characters. I how the chapters were short and the mystery was intriguing. This was a good whodunnit thriller, but doesnโ€™t stand out as a favorite of mine.

I absolutely loved this book, I was smiling the entire time. I loved following Jeanie and Logan in this story and their grumpy/sunshine dynamic. I also really liked the small town setting and cast of side characters. This was a book that I didnโ€™t want to put down and I canโ€™t wait to pick up the other books in this series.

Iโ€™m not sure how I felt about this one. I liked the overall concept of this book and the world the author created. The authorโ€™s writing style was easy to read making it a quick read. I didnโ€™t particularly care for the main characters in this book which made it harder for me to get into the story. This book was also quite darker than my typical read and Iโ€™m not sure that it was for me.

This was an interesting slow burn read! I loved the gothic vibes and setting of this book. I appreciated the dual timeline as it helped explain the family dynamics in the present chapters. I did find myself losing interest every now in then with the slower pacing, but I loved the authorโ€™s overall writing style. Iโ€™ve never read another book quite like this one and I found it to be pretty enjoyable.

This was a real enjoyable thriller that I didnโ€™t want to put down. I read this book in one sitting and loved how original the plot was. This book had me suspicious of every character throughout the book, but was also a bit predictable at times. I loved the authorโ€™s light-hearted writing style in this book and overall I really enjoyed this mystery/thriller. This was a great debut novel and if you are looking for a binge able mystery about serial killers and online dating you should consider picking up this book.

This was a great young adult slow burn romantasy. I enjoyed following Lia in this story and was surprised by some of the twists within the storyline. This book was extremely well written and I liked the authorโ€™s writing style. The pacing felt a bit slow at times but I still didnโ€™t want to put this one down. I canโ€™t wait to see how the story continues in the next book, especially after how it left me hanging.
