I read Tucker's books back when I was in college. I enjoyed them then for what they are. I still wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

I gave up after about.. 5 or 6 chapters. To be fair, it was the audiobook version.. I may have a different opinion if I actually read it perhaps.

I may try it again in the future.. I may not. DNF.

Malice by John Gwynne

Sort of a slow starting intro into this series.. I'm sure glad I pushed through the first few hundred pages though, as it really gets going as you read. Characters to root for, characters to hate.. and you gotta love animal companions!

4/5 stars. Can't wait to go pick up book #2 of the series!
