This book has an excellent narrative but at times can be overwhelming with the (important) historical narrative that rides alongside the author's narrative and the author's father's narrative. Though necessarily heavy, I certainly recommend it!

It was wonderful to revisit the magical world I love so much. The play started slowly for me, but I was fully immersed by the second act. As it is a play, the text reads differently than a novel does, which may be off-putting for some readers.
