Calypso by David Sedaris

The essays in Calypso are a perfect mixture of honest self-assessment and humorous reflections about what it means to be a human being with a finite human existence. I laughed and cried in equal parts as I read and didn't find one 'stinker' in the whole bunch.

I was particular fond of the essay duo about the limpoma—not a soul in the world besides David Sedaris could have provided such entertainment.
