All in all I would say that this was okay, it wasnt a hugely stand out book for me, I'm completely neutral toward it really. I feel like it was a little bit too slow for me at times and I personally didn't like the main character too much. I can appreciate the reasons why people love it but also completely understand those who don't like it. Not my favourite but I did finish it!

I very much enjoyed this book, I liked the plot, I liked the main character. I would say that this book is good but not brilliant, although the ending did take me by surprise and not necessarily in a bad way. The journey of April May navigating becoming famous on the internet and seeing it's rippling effects into her relationships and life was nice and I liked the way it was portrayed. I haven't read the sequel, but if you're looking for an emotionally satisfying book this likely isn't for you.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. It tackles some incredibly strong themes such as drug and sex addiction, but I honestly thought the story altogether was well done. I liked the character development of Lexi, and I don't think the strong themes and issues in this book were heavily romanticised. I would definitely say that this book is better suited for older readers because of it's heavier themes.

Words fail to describe how much I loved this book. I read it without seeing any of the hype surrounding it, so I hadn't set my expectations too high. This book made me fall in love with reading once again, and I would give the world to experience the emotional journey that it took me on for the first time again. It's a beautiful story about love and how we live our lives, and it has permanently altered how I treat each day. I thought it was amazing, and I feel like the hype has ruined how good this book actually is as it's setting expectations too high. My advice for someone who is unsure if they should read this due to the hype, don't go into it expecting something huge, allow it to take you by surprise and then you'll be able to appreciate the beauty of this book in it's fullest.

This book made me fall back in love with fantasy again, I was actually torn as to whether i wanted to give it the 5 stars or the 4. It was a little slow at the start, but when it picked up it really took me by surprise, a more precise rating would be 4.5 stars. I loved the way that Jude was written, as well as Cardan, I loved the magic. All in all, I thought it was brilliant.
