I really loved this book. I felt like I was walking with the author through her journey... through the darkest days of alcoholism and rape, and into the light of healing. I can't recommend this book highly enough!!

While there was good information in this book, it was buried underneath loads of analysis of the moral impications of feral children. I really just wanted to know about the children, so honestly I skipped a whole lot of this book and was very frustrated.

This book was captivating. All books by Johansen are captivating, but this one seemed to have a bit of a different feel to it, possibly because it was co-authored. The history and plot were developed more deeply I think than her other books, but the intensity was not quite as powerful. The characters were well-developed as always, and the ending was great!!!!

So I read this... and found it very annoying. I couldn't figure out what was happening until the end of the book, so it was just very confusing.

So after the annoyance I felt with the first book in this series, I was surprised at how much sense this one made! It was good and entertaining. Can't wait to see how book 3 goes.

Really nice book. Good plot, lots of action. I liked the characters but he only developed them halfway... I'm not sure why he bothered, if he wasn't going to fully develop them.
