I Wore the Ocean in the Shape of a Girl: A Memoir by Kelle Groom
5.0
I really loved this book. I felt like I was walking with the author through her journey... through the darkest days of alcoholism and rape, and into the light of healing. I can't recommend this book highly enough!!
Savage Girls and Wild Boys: A History of Feral Children by Michael Newton
2.0
While there was good information in this book, it was buried underneath loads of analysis of the moral impications of feral children. I really just wanted to know about the children, so honestly I skipped a whole lot of this book and was very frustrated.
Silent Thunder by Iris Johansen
5.0
This book was captivating. All books by Johansen are captivating, but this one seemed to have a bit of a different feel to it, possibly because it was co-authored. The history and plot were developed more deeply I think than her other books, but the intensity was not quite as powerful. The characters were well-developed as always, and the ending was great!!!!
Justice, Volume 1 by Doug Braithwaite, Jim Krueger, Alex Ross
So I read this... and found it very annoying. I couldn't figure out what was happening until the end of the book, so it was just very confusing.
Justice, Volume 2 by Doug Braithwaite, Jim Krueger, Alex Ross

So after the annoyance I felt with the first book in this series, I was surprised at how much sense this one made! It was good and entertaining. Can't wait to see how book 3 goes.
The Lady, Her Lover, and Her Lord by T.D. Jakes

Really good and really helpful book! I really got a lot out of it.
Pandemic by Daniel Kalla
Really nice book. Good plot, lots of action. I liked the characters but he only developed them halfway... I'm not sure why he bothered, if he wasn't going to fully develop them.
