I didn't feel like the character development and story was all that good. Maybe I just really need to be in a certain mood to enjoy this book, but I feel like a good book will get me into the mood I should be in. I felt like the story went too long. I wish there was more about their day to day experience when she was shadowing him.

What a twist at the end!! Kind of a slow book, but interesting story nonetheless

A splendid book! Lovely characters and a wide variety of things happen in the best way possible. The book has serious things, but approaches them with a bit of a lighthearted, childlike nature that makes you feel happy and resolved.

I like the book and I don't. A lot of the principles taught are great things (psychological principles) to remember to think clearly. However, it also puts down some ideas like hope (hand of God vs coincidence). At times, the author sounds like he is judging everyone for our natural ways of being. I put the book down feeling good for the things I already do to think clearly and stupid for believing in good in life and just being a dumb natural human. Still is an interesting book though!

He does a great job at calling out your bs and explaining how to change and actually develop habits.

A very fun book! Sexy parts were excellent. Consent was normal and discussed. Representation was lovely and casual (guy in wheelchair, guy who starts straight and ends up being gay). It was cheesy in some parts, but that is part of what made it great!

The main storyline was kind of boring. Honestly the most interesting part was the dialogue from the octopus. I would have enjoyed the book more if he was featured more. Even so, it was a good book.
