Dude…this is such a fun series. Why did I wait so long to read it? Excellent writing, easy to follow perspectives, easy to believe characters. Crazy crazy drama and man, I’m sucked in!!! On to book 3πŸ”«πŸ§ΏπŸͺ¬πŸͺ…πŸ“•πŸ“—πŸ“˜πŸ“—πŸ“•πŸ“š

What do you do about a book you figured every single thing out about but is still decently written. You give it 3 stars and a decent review. There were no surprises for me. No shocks. A few eyeroll coincidences even. But the story was fun. Reminded me of Gothika, without the ghosts. πŸ€ͺ Will definitely read more by this author.

I hate a drastic cliffhanger. Ugh. Okay okay,, but for what it was, it was good. I want more. I want answers. I need answers. Ugh

My oh my...I wasn't expecting this book to be what it was but man, I will definitely read more by this author in the future. Excellent world building, excellent character growth...cringeworthy parenting, grief and healing. Cringeworthy but accurate when dealing with loss, for sure. I related so much to Marlow and found his character lovable and raw. Four stars instead of 5 cuz I figured out the bad guy...bumping it back up to a 5 tho cuz the ending made me cry. Real tears of relief, sorrow...i don't know. I felt the pain I was supposed to feel. Honestly, if this author hasn't suffered real loss, there's something wrong. This book was spot on.

Woah. This was a solemn, creepy, entertaining book. The mythology of the goblin market with a bit of a coming of age story...or two...thrown in. Well written, room left for a continuation. Mid speed but limited monotony. Will definitely read more by this author.

What a sequel! I'm not at all disappointed in this. I loved all the Buffy references, the growth of the characters from the first book and the typical government official asshats. Love to hate them, I guess I should say. The new characters were diverse & not at all expected. The uncle; not sure how I feel about him but I do feel horrible for Micah. I see him teetering on the edge. Great supernatural sci-fi story. Will definitely read the next one. Four stars instead of 5 only cuz some parts seemed to drag or got repetitive.

I loved this one. What a way to present PTSD and the darkness it brings. I love Nash and adore the way he heals. The best part tho…how the authors brought everything full circle. I loved reading about all my favorite characters. Not just mentioned but actually brought back into play. Excellent book. Emotionally driven. Well written. 5stars!!!

I love the reluctant lover theme of this one. Mommy & Daddy issues. Strangely, it worked. On to the next one!

Naughty buts & evil science topped off by a mariachi band. What else could you ask for?
Side note: love how this series subtly connects characters from previous books.

Triggers: violence against women.
