Reads like the script to a documentary...or a really long school report biography. Wasn't bad, just think it coulda been better. Definetely seemed to stick to the facts and I liked how it went chronologically.

Slow going but creepy. Saw the ending coming but still enjoyed the book.

Unbelievable. I am thoroughly addicted to this author and can't wait for book 7 of this series to come out. The way she can weave in and out of a scenario and then make it all come together...wow, just wow. She draws you in and makes you love or hate the characters as if you yourself are there. She's truly gifted and I recommend these books to everyone.

I NEED BOOK 7. Elicia Hyder is truly gifted in her story-telling. These books have me absolutely hooked...love love love them. She draws you in as if you're there, paints her scenes with expert levels...you see what the characters are seeing and feel what they feel with ease. I could not put these books down.

I enjoyed it only to the point it kept my mind busy and I wanted to see where the story ended up...Some of it is so choppy and some things NEVER get tied up at the end. I enjoyed the interesting take on Grimm's fairy tales and where the author takes them, but I felt it could have tied together better, closed off better. I did quite enjoy the descriptive writing during fight scenes. That was probably my favorite part, each battle draws you in like you can see the weapons move, hear the steel clang together, etc.

A super fun read! These series is just FUN. An array of characters so diverse and yet you can relate to them all. Each book brings you to a new place, introduces characters you either love or love to hate...and yet, somehow these authors find a way to tie everything together seamlessly. Lighthearted and filled with fantasy. Some parts I literally laughed out loud..others I cried like I was really there.

Simple read...easy to follow even though it jumps from one person's perspective to another. I did enjoy it...kept my mind busy, but I wanted more. More action, more explanation, more backstory...just more.

Not my cup of tea. What's with everything having a flavor??? This kind of symbolism was so overdone, in my opinion. Won't be continuing the series, sad to say.

A different take on post apocalyptic story telling. Most of these kind of books is focus on violence, gang mentality, bloodshed and military strategy. Not this one. This is a nice read about hope and community and believing in new starts. Loved it.

Not a bad read...kept me entertained for a day...though I knew who the antagonist was immediately. No surprise there. No twists and turns i didn't see coming...not at all. Fairly interesting premise, slightly political.
