If you want a gooood laugh then this is it!! Absolutely loved the characters and their witty, sarcastic, and hilarious charm. At the end this becomes the crazy rich Asian version of Weekend at Bernie’s.

Covers some very important issues like abusive relationships, but make it LGBT. Which is not really showcased, ofcourse because it may negatively affect the perception of LGBT couples but abuse can occur no matter the sexuality of the persons involved. The art style was beautiful and definitely made up for some issues within the plot. This is a short easy read if you’re down for it.

An amazing look into police brutality and how it affects its victims, witnesses, and communities impacted. This is a very important narrative of how this kind of violence inflicted upon communities of color can traumatize and further dehumanize their experience. The plot and pacing was well done, and the characters were all so relatable and unique. This touches on very important topics like racism, gangs, and navigating biracial relationships.
