blowey i read this for you and i don't get the hype. it read like the author decided to use a thesaurus, making it sound fancier than what it really is. the world is a slow burn (isn't there 7/8 books in this series?) and this book moved sooooooo slowwwwwww. too long too slow. also not a huge fan of this urban fantasy thing either. finally a protagonist who isn't smol and weak tho. duh the baddie at the end

i dunno what to think about this. a couple trying to figure out how to be together in a marriage. my favourite parts were when keru threw rocks. maybe i'm acting like her in an alternate universe.
