DNF! It’s a collection of short stories and I read through some of them and I just wasn’t impressed. I usually finish all books but it just didn’t seem worth my time to keep going through the motions.

I’m glad this only took two hours to read because I didn’t like it. The first four pages were really promising but that was it.

An excellent collection of short stories. Such a shame that I waited until this late in life to start reading Shirley Jackson.

Oops, it took me 3 months to finish this book. Not the books fault. Started out stronger than it finished but I still really enjoyed it.

Look. I had to read this book for class. Maybe the problem is I don’t care about London’s history and I don’t care about smog. Not enough killing and too much smog. It was well-written. I found myself skipping every chapter that I didn’t need for the study guide.

Pretty good, I wish it would have stayed as twisted as it started out.
