Totally vulgar.

Emotionally traumatizing.

This is the graphic novel I chose to critique for our Literature class. After reading this, I don't think my life will ever be the same again. I probably won't look at the original Peter Pan the same way, too.

Memorable.

Such a masterpiece. I love it so much.

I love how Loisel utilized the forgetfulness of the people in Neverland to its fullest. Oh, poor, poor Rose and Pip. And Pan, too.

Bridgerton vibes, Georgian/Regency Era (I think). GoT villain incest. Inheritance game. Rich Narcissistic Aunt. Mr. Darcy-ish love interest. Slow burn enemies to lovers.

Girl, I could go on.

I can't believe Austen died before she was able to finish the novel but god damn, all the characters of this novel have depth, man.

This book spells heartbreak, man. The slow burn was really good but for what?

This took an unexpected dark turn. I don't like how the girl kissing her lover's decapitated head left a disturbing image in my head. They must have loved each other so much. What's the deal with the brother, though? Is he secretly in love with his sister? LMAO.

And it's really the forces you don't see. It's karma in the form of a cautionary tale.

I love it. It's definitely better than Andersen's Tinder-box.

Pride! The people of this kingdom are filled with pride, except the children of course. There is too much pride to admit that they could not see anything. The swindlers are mad geniuses! Even I won't admit that I cannot see anything as I don't want to be deemed unworthy. Though I believe the emperor having a procession completely naked is not enough punishment for his greed.

Reading Peter Pan as an adult hits so different. When I was a child I was disappointed with Wendy for not staying with Peter. But now that I'm an adult, reading this, especially the last two chapters of this story, made it really sad for me. I'm just really glad that Peter and his adventures will never end. Barrie's story now has a special place in my heart.

You will only realize you were happy when it has passed. It's sad, but it's true. The Fir Tree only lived in the future and the past, never in the present which was supposed to be the most important of all.

Good message. I wish I read this when I was younger so I would not have wasted my youth sulking on the fact that I have yet grown into an adult.

Elain is so pure, her love flows right through the pages of the book and warms my heart. I fully understand Nesta as an eldest sister myself. The world doesn't deserve Elain.

It's Toy Story but the plot is similar to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Good read.
