I learned a lot from this book. i love the ending and how it looks for a better future i love the scene where her and her mom are making signs at the end. And drawing parallels to what's happened in the past to what's happening now

It was a really nice read! Honestly, i predicted the plot within the first few chapters but even so it was so enjoyable. It's refreshing to have a main cast of hispanic characters. the end made me super emotional!!
