It's Complicated: The American Teenager by Robert Coles, Robin Bowman

This book is such an unique idea! I loved reading all of the different teenagers' thoughts on the world. Some of them were really inspiring and others...not so much, lol.

I've read the stories countless times before, but the paper art (which was really beautiful) gave a new twist to everything.
Burning Blue by Paul Griffin

I loved the mystery of this book - it kept me on my toes for the whole book. I really couldn't stop reading until I found out who threw acid into Nicole's face.
The Reapers Are the Angels by Alden Bell

I haven't read many zombie books, but this one so far is my favorite. The whole story felt so real, like it could really happen, or such a place exists today. And Temple was the perfect narrator for it.
Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

I've never been a fan of zombies, but this book sounded interesting and the movie looks really good. Overall though, it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be (I did really like R though, and the first half of the book).
Snow White & the Huntsman by Evan Daugherty

The poem at the beginning deserves five stars :), but with that aside, I did really enjoy the story. I think the book gives the story of Snow White more depth compared to the movie.

"Lines Written In the Days of Growing Darkness", "The Morning Paper", "Hum, Hum", and "Was It Necessary To Do It?" were my favorites.
The Stoning of Soraya M.: A Story of Injustice in Iran by Freidoune Sahebjam

Wow, the world we live in - I can't even believe the amount of injustice that still happens, and how some people find it perfectly acceptable.
