Atonement by Ian McEwan

So disappointing. It took me a while to get into this book, but eventually I did and was really enjoying it. McEwan spends a lot of time explaining and goes into details that are not really important to the story. I was dissatisfied with the story because I really thought more would happen. While the story moved forward in time, the characters didn't grow nor did the story. Then revelations in the last two pages ruined the whole thing.
