His & Hers by Alice Feeney
5.0
This was my first audiobook and I. AM. HOOKED. I have seen many raving reviews for Alice Feeney's other novels and a few great reviews for this novel from people lucky enough to get their hands on a copy early. When I saw this was a "listen now" on NetGalley's new app, I immediately downloaded and started listening on my drive home. I have no criticisms for this book at all. I loved the multiple POV's- his, hers, & the killer's. I think the quality of the readers and their voices were perfect. But mostly, I loved how Feeney laid out the book. She had small twists set up from the beginning of the book, such as how the characters knew each other. Well done thrillers introduce the killer early, keep them relevant, and still make it shocking when you find out they are the killer, and this novel did just that. It takes talent to not allow the reader to suspect who the murderer is, and then still have the book wrap up neatly in a tiny bow while the reader shakes his head. This will definitely be a novel I recommend to many and one I will ruminate over.
I am starting Feeney's "Sometimes I Lie" next. I am now a fan of hers AND audiobooks!

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
5.0
Colleen Hoover can write books AND song lyrics. This lady just does it all.
I am in LOVE with the characters in this book. I feel like I truly know them. I just want to be friends with Warren SO badly. The scene is set during college which is so different from most romance novels.
I can't tell you what I love so much about the book without giving it away. But just know Colleen Hoover is wonderful and this book is no different.
Sydney finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her with her roommate on her birthday. She meets Ridge, her neighbor, by chance and forms a friendship with him unlike any other she has experienced before. Ridge is dating the love of his life but struggles to determine if there is more than one soul mate for each person.

The One by John Marrs
5.0
This is my first John Marrs and certainly won’t be my last. This was such a fun and unexpected book! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & READ THIS ♥️
Things I loved:
• multiple POVs
• numerous couples that have no relation to each other except for using Match Your DNA
• mix of romance and murder
• every single chapter ends on a cliff hanger
Match Your DNA is the only dating website that matters. They have proven to find your one true match based on a certain gene in your DNA. The company has made so many couples happy and their relationships successful but it has its downsides. What if you’re married and find out your spouse isn’t your perfect match? What if your perfect match is a psychopath? What if your perfect match is 80 years old and you are 24? Follow numerous couples on their journey to find THE ONE ♥️

Watching You by Lisa Jewell
5.0
I FINALLY read this book that has been on my TBR since a friend bought it for me for Christmas! I love Lisa Jewell and knew Watching You would be no exception!
•
Joey is a wild child who got married in Ibiza, moved in with her brother and sister in law, and is infatuated with her neighbor.
Jenna is a sweet girl who thinks her best friend is having a relationship with her teacher and spends her time trying to talk her mom out of her delusions.
Freddie is a young boy who resents his dad, has no friends at school, and takes pictures of people from his window.
But who is the victim? Who is the murderer?
•
I LOVED the short chapters and quick pace of this novel. You truly don’t know what happened and why until the very last page. Jewell hooks you in from the first few pages and keeps you on the edge of your seat until you finish the epilogue!

Imaginary Friend
I heard such amazing things about this book and finally pulled it off my shelf for #spooktober
I am definitely a little underwhelmed by it. It is 705 pages and I wasn't drawn in and excited to see what happened until page 328. The book also could have ended around 500 pages. I almost DNF but am too stubborn for that. I am glad I finished but this is not a book I will recommend to friends!
