I found this story t be cute and funny. It gave me “below deck” (tv show) vibes. And I loved it! 

Lucky is a 24 yr old new head stew on a superyacht. She has anxiety and is determined to do a good job. She wants to save up money to open her own bakery. 

Hunter is the new deckhand for the yacht and has to share a cabin with Lucky. 

Lucky and Hunter are both very interested in the other but there is a strict no relationships between crew rule put in place by the new yacht owner. 

This was a fun lighthearted read. The nautical puns had me laughing out loud. I enjoyed that the MCs were supporting of each other. Great mental health representation within this book. 

Closed door spice but the book is very enjoyable.

To get over to get back to each other. They had been in love until Nash broke up with Bex. 

Nash got into a really bad wreck. He wouldn’t let anyone help him or into what was going on with him internally. 

Brienne did he best to keep an eye on him and offered him a spot on her F1 team. Bex is the first female chief on the team. Many of the men didn’t accept her as the leader, but Nash stood up for her. 

Such a good book. Strap in for an emotional ride. Loved this book!

My first Jewel E Ann book and I think I have found a new author to love! 

This story follows Ozzie a widowed single dad living with his in-laws who help raise his daughter. He had started a new mechanic job working on planes. 

Maren is a firefighter pilot who has an interesting morning when she meets Ozzie for the first time. She lost her brother and now lives with two guys who are her very close friends. 

I found this book to be sweet, sad at times, absolutely hilarious at points, and spicy mixed in. The way that the author wrote the daughter was just perfection. Sometimes kids don’t come off the best in these books but I loved her. The mother in law starts off like you hate her but by the end you feel for her grieving heart. 

Truly a heartwarming story about love, loss, and finding your happy place again.

This book picks up right where we left off in Game Changer. 

Nova is back in Denver for a job. To paint a mural at the basketball stadium. Putting her smack dab in Clays path. 

Clay is still waiting to get traded to LA but it is taking longer than he would like. He isn’t completely unhappy when he sees Nova but he is worried that it will affect his deal to get to LA. 

When they begin to reconnect Clay realizes how bad he hurt Nova and that he wants another chance. 
This is emotional and it has great banter between the MCs. It was an enjoyable quick listen… I am impatiently awaiting the third book! 
Where will Piper take us next with these two characters?!?!?

Fallon meeting Dillon was not something she was expecting especially the way they meet. She decides to take a chance on him. Until she finds out he’s one of those men she’s trying to take down. 

This story will surprise you and you won’t see every twist coming.

I loved the two main characters.

Tanner is a star quarterback who gets injured during a game early in the season and needs physical therapy/surgery to get back to playing. 

Cassie is a newly divorced single mom who is just getting back into working after her divorce. 

When Cassie shows up to the office and gets assigned to the new high profile client Tanner, a man she had a one night stand with in Vegas while she was celebrating her divorce from her cheating ex husband. The tension is high, the chemistry is bubbling. 

This is a fantastically written romantic comedy with notes of emotional healing and strong family bonds. I really enjoyed this book. 

Dual Narration -  Tor Thom as Tanner and Kelsey Navarro Foster as Cassie chefs kiss to these narrators! 

**4.5 stars only because I wish it were duet style. Still worth a 🎧

I enjoyed this book. Only my second Ali Hazelwood book ever and I found it to be a fun read. 

Misery is a vampire that was raised among humans as the sacrifice. She chose to stay with the humans. She had never felt like she belonged anywhere. When her best friend goes missing she will stop at nothing to find her. Even marry a werewolf. 

Low is the new werewolf Alpha. He is trying to align with the vampires and humans. When he meets Misery the day of their arranged wedding he is shocked. She is more than he expected. 

Sort of a sweet romance. Slow burn. Tense moments and funny moments. Would recommend.

Bully he’s now “one of the good guys” she has just come back to town as a consultant for their workplace. Forced proximity/workplace romance. 
This story has drama, laughs, and sweet heart felt moments. Also a bit of mystery thrown in there.

Dual narration- I loved the voices. They did well giving life to the characters. 

* my one issue was that it is told in third person POV. But it didn’t bother me so much that I couldn’t listen. Was still enjoyable

I struggled to connect with the characters. 

Ari gets broken up with by her longtime boyfriend and her life spirals. She gets involved with the wrong man. There were times I wanted to grab her and shake her like wth are you even doing?

It’s not badly written or necessarily a bad story I just struggled to connect with it.

Storee wants to feel alive to be a risk taker. She had had a crush on her dad’s best friend since she was a teenager but nothing has ever happened.

Lock is a local business man, billionaire who owns the local sec club and helps run “the hunt”. He is also obsessed with Storee. He stalks her and watches her. He wants to protect her to keep his promise to her father. He shouldn’t want her. 

This was a fun dark romance listen. Narrated very well. I enjoyed the voices very much. Would recommend for any dark romance lover.
