I am SO FUCKING STRESSED.
Brb, reading the 3rd book immediately even though it's 3am. Also, this is the first series that's actually convinced me to read the second book immediately, let alone the third. I am INVESTED.
Also also, I want to hug the devil kinda?
Also also also, I kind of hated Emilia for like 75% of this book for gaslighting herself into "we're enemies." like, girl, where???? But the whole wild ending definitely brought out the badassery she has become and reminded me that she is there for a purpose but like. PLEASE LOVE HIM.
That's all.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.
I absolutely love the concept but am bad with books constantly skipping to different POVs. I may return!

Interesting idea. Predictable twist. Terrible writing and atrocious dialogue. It's like it was written by someone who speaks English as a third language and has no idea how people talk, and who has absolutely no passion at all. Like it was a first draft. But, it was quick, I guess.

I genuinely don't know if I should give this 3 stars or 5. It was one of my favorite and least favorite things I've ever read. Absolutely insane, rambling, nonsensical, but in such a beautiful way, a real way, a way that was completely captivating.

So I'm not gonna lie, I skimmed after like 86% and straight up skipped the very end. I couldn't take any more random twists and twice as many words as their needed to be. It was okay, just soooo much rehashing of the same thoughts over and over again, which trust me, I get, but it was frustrating to read. It was like it was walking the reader through every step of the way like we're stupid. Twists were unexpected, but still unsatisfactory and underwhelming and some made no sense. I'll read more by the author, but I expected this to be great, so it was a let down.

WHY IS EVERYONE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS BOOK??
This is genuinely one of the best I've ever read. Most impactful, most real, most heartbreaking, so well written, SO GREAT.
This should be required reading. Read it immediately. I'll be away somewhere, sobbing.

Well that was certainly a combination of words, formed into paragraphs, that I read...
