Romance + baseball will always be a win to me. And that has proved true once more with Taylor James’, Sideline Play!!
Remington and Scarlett are 2 of my new favorite MCs!! Their chemistry, their banter, the way Scarlett opens up to Remi, it’s all just perfection!! And the side characters were SO FUN. It’s all a win for me!!
Tropes:
- Major League Baseball
- Coach's daughter
- Teammate's sister
- Age gap
- Cinnamon roll MMC
- Forced proximity
- Injured player/athletic training intern
Spice: 3 chili peppers

This book is the rodeo romance of all rodeo romances!! I don’t want to give anything away, so just trust me- you’ll LOVE it and want to read ALL of H.K.’s future books!! (This is her debut!)
H. K. Green wrote this story from personal experience growing up around rodeos, and you can tell. She also gives a glossary of rodeo terms in the beginning!
This story was so fun! I love me a good black cat FMC x golden retreiver MC. There are a few trigger warnings readers should be aware of, but overall, I absolutely LOVED Ellison and Colter’s story!!

This book was an emotional rollercoaster right from the start!!
Kicking off the book with Tessa crawling out of the ground after being buried alive, gave the feeling that this book would be intense and awesome. And it was!!
I loved the healing the MCs did throughout the book, and the slow burn was sizzling!! This was a wonderful read!!
Goodnight, Sweet: A Caregiver's Long Goodbye by Leah Stanley
Leah writes with such a genuine spirit, hoping to lift some of the burden of caregivers walking this road.
She constantly points to her unmoving trust in Jesus, the grace God provided her, and how much she relied on the Lord to sustain her through this difficult time. She even adds some humor into her writing, reminding readers that with the Lord, peace surpasses all understanding, even to the degree of being able to laugh in the midst of such a hardship.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, anyone in the healthcare industry who works in this area, and anyone who is coming alongside a friend or family member who is caring for a loved one in this way.

I have not yet dealt with a loved one going through Alzheimer’s or Dementia, however, if I ever do, this book will become my resting place. Her book and other resources are invaluable to caregivers.

I enjoyed this book SO much!!! I couldn’t believe it was Saraih’s DEBUT romantasy!!! The action, the twists, the romance, the CLIFFHANGER!! I can’t believe we have to wait a whole year for book 2!!
The world building was TOP notch, the chemistry was sizzling, and the growth of our FMC, Lia! It was all amazing. All I can say is just go read it. (Except that it comes out Nov. 1, so just go pre-order it!)

Lauren Blakely is quickly becoming one of my very favorite romance authors!! I can always expect her characters to be real- flawed, heavy backstory, but relatable, lovable, and amazing. She is the QUEEN of banter, and that's a big one for me.
The first book I read by Lauren was Love and Hockey series with The Boyfriend Goal, and The Romance Line was no different. I completely fell in love with her characters- Max and Everly were perfect contenders for hate-to-love, they both had difficult histories that played into the plot, but I seriously wanted to dive into the pages of the book and become they're best friend.
I listened to the audiobook version, and let me tell you- you cannot get better than having Teddy Hamilton as a narrator!!! I don't know many book narrators names, but I know his, because his voice is so smooth and dreamy, you can't help but swoon over his words. Vanessa Edwin also did an excellent job voicing Everly! I love audiobooks, and the narrators can really kill a book for ya, so these are two winners!!
Overall, I absolutely adored this story!! I can't recommend it highly enough. The sport, the spice, the banter, the secret dates, it's just all perfect.
And now I'm back to waiting for the next book in the series!! Ugh!

This was SUCH a fun book!! It’s promoted as Footloose meets A Star is Born, and I couldn’t agree more!! I mean good girl falls for bad boy, who’s also good girl’s boyfriend’s brother?! Add some twists and turns I did NOT see coming, and this book took me on a ride I wasn’t expecting but loved oh so very much!! I definitely recommend this one!!!!

End Game is the first book in the new Kings of Campus series, and it was my first Monica Murphy book! (But I’m currently listening to my second!) I absolutely adored this book.
Nico is a reformed playboy who falls for his roommate. But “Ever” doesn’t give in easily. She’s a girl who doesn’t want to mess things up with the rest of their roommates, and tries her hardest to not give into her feelings for Nico.
This was just such a fun story, I can’t wait to read more Kings of Campus books!!!

This book was SO fun!! For someone who absolutely adored Daisy Jones and the Six, it was fun to enter back into the music scene.
Set in the 80's, Kit, an entertainment attorney is enraptured by Sully's raw talent and charming personality. But Kit is still hesitant due to her divorced parents. Together they go through a lot! The highest of highs of love and life in the music business, to the heartbreaking lows of the choices made in the entertainment industry. This book is a whirlwind of emotions, personal battles, ups and downs, love and heartbreak. It's an excellent story and I hope everyone gets their hands on a copy!!
