Wow. Perfectly captures the screaming frustration of the mother teen daughter relationship - and every other maddening and heartbreaking moment coming at us in midlife. Other reviews suggesting it is unbelievable or far fetched HAVE NOT BEEN THERE.

A delightful debut from a certified ASL interpreter, this tearjerker romance features a DeafBlind Jehovah’s Witness Romeo & a Deaf, Indian-American Juliet. The hero of this romance is an ASL interpreter who learns what love and friendship really mean when he helps Romeo escape the clutches of an evil guardian more controlling than Brittany Spears’ dad.

could feel the passage of time and the changes in scenery in the language itself. I wish I could find a better way to describe how the terror resonates: the fog of terror and grief and just surviving. The horrific choices that humans make to survive.
