Loved this book! I can’t wait to read the next one.
Favorite line/part:
Evie narrowed her eyes, and Mr. Warsen did not notice her right hand slipping free. He kept his grip around her throat as he leaned in close to her face. “What could be better…for The Villain’s whore.”
Evie closed her palm and her eyes, feeling the burn of pain in every pore, feeling it pulse in her blood.
“Actually,” she rasped out.
She opened her eyes.
“I’m. His. Fucking. Assistant,” she whispered and smiled, before whipping the dagger up and slitting his throat.

The first “steamy romance” I stole from my Mom when I was 14.  Decided to read it again. Unconventional way of meeting and falling in love, but both characters grow during their weeklong ordeal. Still as good as I remember.

Loved Luka, Beck (happy to see he gets his own book), the tree farm itself, but Stella kind of drove me nuts sometimes. A few things felt like they were left unanswered, but maybe that will be in the next Lovelight book series.
