Shocked I finished this book but my god. Seriously just a book about a vapid girl pretending she’s very in tune with herself (spoiler alert she’s not)

I put off finishing this series because I knew it was going to wreck me in the best way and damn did Raven Kennedy deliver. The character growth throughout this series is so incredible, the cold queen?! Who is she?! Damn. The characters that died in the book either ripped me apart or I was so thankful they were finally fucking dead. I truly saw the growth of the storyline and author throughout this series. 5/5 ⭐️

It definitely didn’t help that I went into this book thinking it would be a cute little rom-com. But honestly I was not a huge fan of how the author switched constantly from dialogue to summarizing what the dialogue was supposed to say? I also felt like there were lines here and there that were like oh that’s a good line but overall I was not super impressed with the way the characters plot went.

I’ve gotta say my expectations were ON THE GROUND after the second book. Of course it ends on a typical cliffhanger but I gotta say overall such a better book. I felt like it was a good balance between giving us some answers, opening more questions and having enough battle vs conversation scenes that it didn’t drag for me. It did take me probably like 150-200 pages to really dive into it and sort out characters and of course I hate it when the character holds information from the reader (like come on tell me what you know) but overall a solid 3.5-4 stars

Such a fantastic cozy little read filled with punny jokes, action, griffons, pirates and of course dragons. Love how the author brought in a little side love story while still focusing on the main one without it feeling too drawn out.

This one didn’t hit as hard as the last two did but it was still a good and easy read! Love a good marriage of convenience trope haha

This book had me laughing, sobbing and heart aching in all the best ways. The quiet love displayed throughout the book is such a refreshing take on romance and I’m utterly obsessed with it.

Interestingly enough I have heard so many mixed reviews on this book. I will say that I’m not a big thriller girl but I really did enjoy this book! I thought it had twists I didn’t really see coming and kept me entertained enough to want to know what happens at the end. Sure there were some cheesy parts but overall a solid book!
