When Leo sets her sights on a self-made billionaire, she makes quick work in charming Michael Forrester and is rewarded with an invite to his private island off the California coast for a night of absolute luxury. Instead of returning with more than enough money to share with Summer, she disappears.
Summer, having not been alone on the road in years, takes it upon herself to find a way onto Michael's island to figure out what happened. But when she finds her way there, there is no trace of Leo and no way off the island.
This was a great and easy read. It was fast paced and something I couldn't put down. I loved the dynamic between Summer and Leo and how strong their relationship was, especially by the end. The only reason it was four stars for me was because there was a lot of background information that seemed like it could've made the story more interesting but it was just sort of said to be said and didn't have a point.
