This is my first reread and I do not know what I was thinking when I gave this book 5 stars. ๐Ÿ˜…

While the writing is still good and I love the majority of the characters, this book was a regression of all character growth. Persephone became overly annoying, jealous, whiny, and just overall a toddler in adult form. The toxicity was insane. I actually liked Apollo more than her in this book. I gave it a 3 though because she does start becoming more bearable again near the end.

Still love this series, she just needs to chill. ๐Ÿ˜‚

They are so cute I wanna die. ๐Ÿซ

It was cute & fun. Definitely a little slower paced than the previous two books. I also love how this books timeline is in sync with the first two books, I thought that was awesome, especially getting to revisit a couple scenes.

Itโ€™s not my fave however, the second book is my baby and I still love the first book. This book comes in third compared to those two, to me. The audiobook is also ๐Ÿฅต, however the spicy scenes were cringe so I would alternate between the audio and the book for those scenes.

Overall though, it was a good time and I would def reread this entire series again.

I had such a good time listening to this book. It was cute and steamy and theyโ€™re both so traumatized. I loved it. ๐Ÿ’•

It was cute.
Then it was adorable.
Then it was awkward.
Then it just got weird.

How many times can you fit โ€œfoldsโ€ in to a single smut scene? And I get that it was short and adorable. But the spice scenes were awkward to listen to and their chemistry felt extremely forced near the end.

I almost DNFed but realized I was at 90% so I pushed through but I wish I had just stopped. ๐Ÿ˜… 3 stars for the first half of the book and the writing style. Everything else was not for me.

Normally I absolutely detest the same book in a different pov but omg it worked so well for this one. I absolutely loved hearing Hades PoV for every scene. Some of it did feel repetitive, but I still had a good time. Def do not recommend skipping this one.

I wanted to love this, I really did, and I tried so hard but in the end I had to push myself to even finish it. The characters just both seemed to be the same person in a way with the same struggles and it was repetitive in a way. And I kept dissociating from boredom and had to reread multiple parts and a few of those parts I gave up on altogether and have no idea what happened. ๐Ÿ˜… Now I listened to the audio so that may have been the problem and I do plan on trying to read the physical book at some point to give it an honest chance.

But for now, I didnโ€™t hate it, but I didnโ€™t love it.

This volume was so cute and sweet. I love that Adachi chose to pursue his dreams while also choosing Kurosawa. And Tsuge is so freakin cuuuuuute. Ah, this manga is everything.

Looking for an AMAZING story that is extremely detailed to the point you can fully immerse yourself in the story? This is the one.

Now, Iโ€™m gonna be super honest though. It was so detailed that my ADHD brain kept having to reread whole sections of the story because I would zone out periodically. So I am rating this 5 stars solely on vibes and the fact that I have not read a story this detailed and superb since LOTR. It is an amazing story, just hard to stay focused on something so detailed, itโ€™s a me problem. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But I heard the first book is also the slowest as it has a lot of explanations and character intros and different regions being described. So I understand that and I am so excited to get to volume two.

I also hybrid read/listened to this by the amazing narrator Crimson Rain on Spotify. ๐Ÿ’•

With all that said, I am obsessed with the characters and the story and I NEED more Xie Lian and Hua Cheng more than I need to breathe. ๐Ÿ˜
