This story is beautiful, heartbreaking, traumatic, and just perfect in every single way.
This is the story of Oliver, a boy who was taken on the Fourth of July many years ago, but is one day found. And Sydney, his childhood best friend who never stopped wishing and hoping for him to come home. Mysteries unfold, traumatic events occur, and it has the best slow burn of all time.

I adored every single thing about this book. As I do every book I have read by her so far. She is a poet and a master at her craft and I will read every single book she ever writes EVER!

That is all, now excuse while I go sob over this book some more, because this is another one that I will NEVER get over.

I was so curious throughout this entire series about Damon's back story, I needed to know what happened to him. Because if you read the first two books you know that something happened. We got a little taste in Hideaway, but I just knew that was barely scratching the surface, especially since Damon seems to be a crowd favorite and after reading the first two books, I could not understand why.

I understand now, I understand EVERYTHING. His back story is the most heart breaking and messed up story so far. I hate everybody in his life for him now. I loved that we of course got to see more of all of the other characters too. Rika's character development is becoming one of my favorites. She went from being annoying asf to me in book 1 to a complete monster in this book and I love it. I loved Winter, especially for Damon. This book is officially my fave of the series, so far. I still have one more book and two novellas so we shall see.

But for now, I am #teamdamon.

I am obsessed, Logan is the definition of "if he wanted to, he would".

This is book 2 in the off campus series and this book revolves around John Logan and Grace. Their meeting was steamy, Ramona is a b*tch, and the hoops he jumps through to prove he wants to date her? Immaculate. He is such a sweetheart and his back story hurt my very soul, no kid should have to grow up the way he did and made me 100% on his side immediately. Grace is adorable and deserves Logan and vice versa. This story was cute and steamy and a bit sad at times and I ate up every single word. I will definitely be starting book 3 asap!

I loved this volume so much, the intro of a few new characters, the story progression, the actual battlefield calculations needed. He is still leveling up super fast, but it is getting more interesting again.

I’m still loving this manga. Sung is awesome, I adore Joohee and hope we continue to see more of her, but I just feel like the mc is way too overpowered already. We are on volume 3 and bro isn’t even blinking while taking out enemies he would have been terrified of just days ago. So yeah, I just feel like his progression is happening way too fast and I hope it slows down a bit.

I love the originality of this manga, it is definitely for gamers and non gamers alike. I do hope we get some more backstories soon and maybe some more side characters. It will just get boring imo if it’s just all Sung all the time.

It was cute, I enjoyed it. I think Noah was adorable and I loved Amelia and felt for her. It was a little predictable, but that’s okay because it was just a short silly romance lol.

Will I remember this book a month from now? Probably not if I’m being honest but that’s okay because it did its job as an excellent palette cleanser after an intense read. ❤️
