Definitely some eww moments in the book. Specifically at the beginning with Owen describing his ex girlfriends name and his art teacher’s name spelled backwards. There were a few others as well. But I loved how it came together in the end. It was a beautiful ending. I feel like most of Coleen Hoover’s books do that. Have beautiful endings.

Thought it was a beautiful book. Had a good message. People seem to give it low stars bc they think the female is weak and relies on a man to emotionally heal. And yes that did happen but she’s also a struggle female character imo.

Lots of sex. It was cute. But mostly quirky.

I only finished this one bc I read the other two and enjoyed them. This was was cringey to the max. Cheesy, predictable, gag worthy, fairy tale like, etc. almost like a toast you’d hear at a wedding of how they all met each other and how unrealistic it was. Also, I struggled with the deaf aspect since I work in the Deaf community. Not that Colleen was wrong. I just think she made Ridge to be so innocent all bc he’s deaf. And I felt like she could have researched the Deaf community more.
