Wanted to love it. There was just something missing from this story that I can’t quite put my finger on.

I’m not sure if I felt like it had been done before, or if I was too fresh off a better read - but something about this was just a bit one dimensional to me.

It’s not a bad book, but I don’t find myself recommending it.
