This book was slow moving in the beginning and didn’t grab me like Flicker or Only If You’re Lucky but once it caught on it was mind blowing. Seeing the way Stacy Willingham weaves all the “slow” details of the beginning of the book into the reveals in the end were amazing. It left me wondering why didn’t I see that coming - it looks so clear now.
Stacy did a great job with the female characters and the levels of emotions women carry often in secret and silent shedding light on the need for female mental health awareness.
The book addressed difficult subjects like sleepwalking and kidnapping but are worth pushing through the dark parts.
Well done!
