This whole book was a shock to me!!! I ended up reading the entire thing in 4.5hours because I needed to know what happened. Literally gave me chills at some points, the ability to flip between romance and thriller was impressive. Would love to go back and read it with hindsight on various aspects.

I really did not connect with this book like I was expecting!! Everyone raved on about it and I was so excited to read it, but I was really bored? I didn’t connect with any of the characters and found the story line a little bland. The writing style was unique and super easy to read but I had to convince myself to pick it up and finish it. I think the amount of characters in the book made it hard for me to develop a connection to any of them. Super underwhelming for me personally

I really enjoyed this book! It was a little slow for what I like and really not much happens in the book…there’s an obvious plot but it could also have been set over a week and still make sense. This is my second book from CH and she makes me ugly cry (no pun intended) every time! So much emotion and passion. If it had a little more going on it would be a 5/5

I had heard amazing things about this book but still went in with no expectations. It surprised me more than I thought it would! The last 8 chapters at least left me crying for a multitude of different reasons and the twists and turns at the end! It’s so worth a read. A little bit of it was predictable, but still surprising and enjoyable!

Very slow start. I love the whole concept of the book, the idea of it is really interesting but I feel I wasn’t as emotionally invested in Henry’s life as I should have been. The constant jumping back and forth between times made it a bit hard to pull the story along, but it does mimic her retelling everything to Henry which I liked. Overall I really liked it, and did get a bit emotional at the end. Definitely worth a read, but not worth the absolute crazy hype some people give :)

So surprised by this book! I was expecting to find it really slow but I loved it! It had vibe of ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ but so different too. I wasn’t expecting to cry either, but the ending was perfect. My respect for Kya throughout the whole thing just kept growing! Such an amazing story

I liked the story line and the character development of Eleanor was really nice but the crazy amount of detail in some areas just really bored me. I found myself skim reading to get to the bulk parts of the book. It wasn’t until the second section I was interested. The plot twist at the end really threw me and I would probably appreciate the book a lot more reading a second time knowing how it ends. A little slow paced for me, but still worth while for sure!
