The ending was just perfect, I literally couldn’t have asked for a better ending. I’m obsessed with the characters. Delphie is so sweet, I love unique characters and she definitely was that. It broke my heart when she realised all she needed in life was ‘her people’ and how much joy she had at the end of the book. Delphie grew so much as a character.
Mr. Yoon was such an amazing side character, his story melted my heart especially as I have a non-verbal brother it hit home with me. I loved how she looked after Mr. Yoon even when she had no joy in life and wanted to be alone.
I was obsessed with the book references throughout the book - authors, tropes, books🥰
I just adored it, can’t wait to read more from this author.
I loved this book. The characters, the dreams, the hidden messages and deeper meanings. It was so whimsical and I can’t wait to read the sequel. Hats off to the translator as it felt like this book was wrote in English🤍
If I could give this double the stars I would. What a way to show Nesta’s story, the strength and courage of the women in this book hit deeper than I realised it would. I will carry this book in my heart always and remind myself that I too can do whatever I put my mind too despite trauma and hardships I’ve been through. Gwyn, Nesta and Emerie will forever have a special place in my heart.
Loved this book. The protectiveness of Johnny heals something in me🥹. I can’t wait to read the next book as it ends on a cliff hanger, I really am looking forward to continuing Shannon’s and Johnny’s story
My first Freida McFadden book and I really enjoyed it! Giving it 4 stars because I finished this in one sitting I couldn’t put it down. I genuinely didn’t see that specific plot twist coming, I thought I predicted the ending but I was so wrong. Just a minor issue with this book though, I definitely feel like slashing a random persons tires is not blackmail material, if someone tried to blackmail me with that I think I’d laugh, I definitely think this part of the book could’ve been improved and it could’ve felt more tense. However, I will definitely be reading more Freida books, this was such a good read.
This book has got to be one of the best books I have ever read. Loved everything about it and Rhysand has my heart. Mor is honestly one of the best female characters I’ve read.
I absolutely loved the start to this series. I’ve been putting off reading this for so long because it’s so hyped up but I absolutely loved it. I don’t understand how people call this book spicy, to me there is very little spice but hopefully that improves as the series goes on..
