Good for anyone who wants more of the movie or for people like me who have trouble focusing on movies. I will say, though, if you’ve seen the movie, this doesn’t add much more, and the writing is not spectacular. Reads more like a script.

A quick, dark and entertaining read. I did feel like it took a bit of build up to get interesting but that might be because it’s the first volume. Still, it was quite fun. Am I basic if I say that Sebastian is hot ?

A fun and cozy read with an important message on self love and body image. Though I’m not a big fan of modern romance, this book is great to spend the whole day curled up in bed reading and drinking tea. I have to say though, I understand the appeal of de-romanticising typical perfect romance, but I still would’ve liked a little bit less unappealing details sometimes. Knowing about the hole the character had on his shirt, or about his night farts, was not necessary in my opinion, and kind of cringed me out. Especially in the beginning of the book. This did get better though, as the mc gained more self-confidence, so I won’t hold a grudge. The romance was cute, though I wish the characters had a bit more depths. Always been a bit more of a slowburn person myself.

Un mélange de complots politiques et de sentiments, un livre divertissant et intéressant d’un point de vu historique. Je regrette cependant l’abondance de scène érotiques diverses et souvent inutiles à l’histoire. Cela devient vite lassant. Les personnages, nombreux, sont assez attachants. Bien qu’une histoire un peu longue parfois, j’ai tout de même apprécié cette lecture.

This book was amazing.
Though I did find the middle part a bit slow, the beginning is very entertaining and has amazing world building and the third part is simply phenomenal. While a plot-focused book as well, the reflections this story had on power, anger and how they impact history were truly fascinating. As always, we love flawed main characters, and they truly were. To the point where I kept switching between hating them or loving them with my whole heart. As I said, amazing.
