I usually don’t rate silly smutty romance I read on the internet (its a LOT) but this book was just so fun and surprisingly heartwarming and touching. The smut was TOP TIER, the relationship has every single trope I love and their development was GREAT. It is a sucky book let’s be honest, but maybe one of my favourite sucky books of all time. I’ve been kind of obsessed with this author lately, she’s a bit problematic but damn good at writing hot escapist romance at its finest.

Combines thrilling tension, heartfelt emotions with important reflections about institutional racism - good book, especially for someone trying to learn more about those subjects without losing on the entertainment. Loses point because the ending gets somewhat boring and predictable, with a bit too neat and unrealistic of a resolution that I think takes away from the story’s otherwise important message.
