This is a book that wanted to be a comic / graphic novel so badly. I think the humor would have translated in graphic novel format a lot better than whatever was going on here.

This is a wonderful collection of poetry and essays about watching sport, playing sport, aging out of playing competitive sport, just being a sport fan in general. The range here is magnificent, every piece so personal and touching. So many poems made me sit and reflect on my own life as a sport fan, as an athlete, and of course aging out of being at my own highest level of competition.
