I started these books once before, but couldn't get over the whole talking lion, big animals, fantasy stuff... but I was in elementary school then. But I love the Screwtape Letters and other things by C.S. Lewis... so, I decided it was time to give the Chronicles of Narnia another try. I mainly read it because my kids really enjoyed the movies The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Jeremy REALLY loved this series.

I could not put them down. I loved the allegorical nature of these books. They were so thought provoking. I HIGHLY recommend them.

This book is a little over the top on the drama... but it is very powerful. The book makes reference to "the Universe," and is very metaphysical, but Jeremy and I just apply it to faith and it REALLY makes SENSE! (And has made a difference in our life.) We actually watched the movie about a year ago, but I needed to feel more positive so I checked the book out from the library.
