I love the movie with Matt Damon that was inspired by this book. The book itself is okay, but still good enough.

This is an interesting young adult novel that I did enjoy. I mainly read it because it is coming out as a movie this coming December. I'm still a bit unsure if I will see this in theatres or not. I'm also not interested in reading the next book in the series. I liked it, but not enough to actively pursue finishing the series.

As always, Anne Bishop brings the reading entertainment. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was fast and the world was very convincing. An author I add to my favorite list!

Usually I get a high amount of enjoyment from an Anne McCaffrey book, but while this was an easy read, I was not really impressed with the story itself. Maybe it was the idea of an alien who was like a unicorn from Earth's mythological past, or the story itself, I don't know. All I know was that after I finished with this book, I had no desire to go and actively seek out the rest of the series. A disappointment from an author that I have enjoyed in the past.
