This book is much more substantial than the chick lit blurb.

It deals with grief, ptsd, forgiveness, found family

This is a story about two women who give birth on the same day, but then there are suspicions that the babies were switched.

The book would have been more interesting (I think) if that were the only story told. Basically there's Michelle and her mothering and then Sylvie and her whole backstory. I felt that her story was too much and unnecessary.

This wasn't very romantic.

The part with her grandmother was gold though.

Finally a frends to lovers story where the woman isn't whiny, stalkery, and pining after her best friend for thirteen years.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 70%.
I was shocked by how many reviewers said this was their favorite bridgerton book!

This is the most unromantic romance novel ever!

The timeline is a little wonky too. Colin was married in book 4 and Eloise in book 5, but here in book 6 they are both unmarried.
